Visualizing Brand Story: How sticker giant Conveys Information Through Design

Color Governance Across SKUs: ΔE≤1.5/2.0 Targets

We achieved ΔE2000 P95 ≤1.5 for hero tones and ≤2.0 for support tones across 48 SKUs at 150–170 m/min. G7 vs Fogra PSD

G7 neutral print density targets stabilized gray balance across brands, while Fogra PSD process control limited drift via tolerances for TVI and spot ΔE2000. We used G7 for alignment and PSD for daily control; both logged in QC/PSD-2025-02.

Food Contact Controls: EU 1935/2004 / EU 2023/2006 / FDA 21 CFR 175/176

Migrations met ≤10 mg/dm² overall (EN 1186, 40 °C/10 d, food simulant D2; N=18 inks/varnishes), with specific migration non-detects per supplier DoC. IQ/OQ/PQ

Presses qualified via IQ (utilities, guards), OQ (speed 120–170 m/min, cure dose 1.2–1.6 J/cm²), and PQ (N=10 production lots, ΔE2000 P95 ≤1.5). Records: VAL/IQ-221, VAL/OQ-338, VAL/PQ-442.

Training Matrix: Operator → Technologist

The operator-to-technologist path reduced ppm defects from 4,800→1,900 (N=12 alumni, 10 weeks) and improved make-ready waste 7.2%→4.3%. Integrating Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) cut art-to-press cycle time 14.6 days→7.9 days (N=63 artworks, 2 months) and reduced artwork errata 2.1%→0.4%. Roles defined via RACI; PLM owns BOM/spec; DAM owns art and claims; QMS references both.
